Children's literature is shelved on the main floor.

All children's literature books have JUV LIT before the call number.

Call numbers for American and English children's fiction are:

PZ6 -- Early to 1860 or 1870

PZ7 -- General after 1870

PZ8 -- Fairy tales

PZ10.3 -- Animal stories

Non-fiction children's books are shelved on the same shelves, but are arranged by their Library of Congress subject area classification.
