Zotero
Zotero is a free, open-source tool that helps you collect, organize, annotate, cite and share your research citations. Zotero can integrate with your web browser to automatically detect and retrieve information from almost anywhere and from almost any source. In addition, available plug-ins work inside Word, Google Docs, or LibreOffice to instantly create references and bibliographies within your work. All major citation styles are supported. Registration is required.

EndNote Basic (EndNote Web)
EndNote Basic is the free, stripped-down version of the full-featured EndNote software from Clarivate. The free version still requires registration, but provides more than enough functionality for undergraduate students. Users can export citations directly into their accounts from most library databases and Google Scholar. Download the Cite while you Write plugin to integrate your citations into Word.
