Borrowing Privileges

• Books can be checked out for the entire semester. 
• Students may borrow as many books as they wish.
• DVDs check out for one week. Contact the library to renew DVDs.
• There are no fines for late materials; however, you may be charged for replacement costs if the material is not returned.
• Your A number is required to check out materials.
• Laptops are available for semester-long checkout pending approval of the student equipment checkout request.
  • Borrowers are responsible for replacement costs in the event of loss or damage to equipment.

Reserves

• Reserve items may be requested at the circulation desk.
• Most Reserve items checkout for two hours.

Interlibrary Loan

• If the NSCC Library does not own a book or article you need for your research, you can request a copy through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
• Make requests using the Interlibrary Loan Request Form.

Equipment Checkout

• The library has a variety of equipment available for checkout including graphing calculators, laptops, iPads, headphones, and more.
• With the exception of phone chargers, equipment checks out for four hours. Phone chargers check out one hour.
• Failure to return equipment in four hours will result in being banned from equipment checkout for the semester.
• You may be billed for the cost of equipment if you fail to return it.
