Where do I...

...browse for books?

Ask a librarian for a call number range if you want to browse for books. All the books on the second floor of the library can be checked out. You can also look and see what call numbers to browse here.

...check out books?

You can check out books from anyone seated at the large circulation desk in the library with your A number.

..find a copy of a textbook?

Many textbooks are located on reserve behind the circulation desk.  Older editions may be located upstairs in the stacks. Reserve textbooks are most commonly available for a two-hour checkout and must remain inside the library.  Reserve textbooks are available at the Main and Southeast campuses.  

...find a tutor?

Tutors for Math, Science, Writing, Computers, Foreign Languages and Accounting are located in the Learning Center (K-164).  Tutoring is free. Click here to see the  schedule of tutors, times and subjects.

...find journal/magazine articles?

Magazine and journal articles can be located in the library's databases. If you're unsure of how to search the databases, contact the library: 615-353-3555. Watch a tutorial on locating magazine and journal articles.

...make copies?

There is a copy room with two coin operated copy machines inside the library. In addition, there is a copy machine at the end of the bank of computers in the library, which accesses the money in a student's print account, and one copy machine in the Learning Center.

...send a fax?

The Library has a fax machine available for student use. Local faxes only, please (area code 615).

...make up a test?

Tests can be made up in the Testing Center. The Testing Center is located in the S-building on the second floor (S-217). DVDs?

DVD viewing rooms are located on the right hand wall of the Learning Center.
