Advising Chat Fall 2022 Hours

Green light indicates availability. Chat will run Monday to Thursday from October 12 to November 17.

Advising Chat can answer quick questions, but in depth help with registration and making academic and career plans should start with your advisor. Not sure who your advisor is? Here are two places that list your advisor.

• Advisor Place 1: Log into myNSCC and click 'Advising Resources' on the left side. Your advisor will be listed there.

• Advisor Place 2: Log into Degree Works via myNSCC and your advisor is listed at the top of the worksheet
• You may have two advisors. 
  • One advisor is a full-time success advisor dedicated to students starting at Nashville State. 
  • One advisor is a faculty member that knows more about the specifics of your degree.
• No advisor? That is a good question for Advising Chat. If Advising Chat is offline, check in with the Nashville State Division where your degree "lives." Like a computer degree is part of our STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) Division. The contact information for each Division can be found via this page. 
• How do I reach my advisor? Here is the Nashville State directory which shows Advisor emails. Still having trouble contact the Division as described above.
